to first do the connectors splice in. Then later do the harness as need arises. BTW if soldering is not your thing the crimp connectors with heatshrink tubing work just fine. If you go that route get the connectors for 18 to 22 gage wire and double up (fold back) any thin wire for a better fit in the connector B4 crimping. Also if heatshrink not available I used brush on electric tape to seal the connection then wrapped connection in elec tape. Also cut back harness to eliminate any green corrosion that might have migrated from the connector into the wire.
